How Real Time PCR Works
The Real Time PCR analytical technique uses the linearity of DNA amplification to determine the quantity of a known sequence within a sample. The generation of DNA is measured through a fluorescent reporter in the reaction, which allows growth to be monitored in real time.
This technique is essential to guarantee precise and reliable results in extremely short timeframes. It is particularly useful when it is necessary to intervene promptly to protect the occupants. Generally, our technicians, at the customer’s request, take care of sampling, but it is also possible to provide, for the analysis of legionella pneumophila on the aqueous matrix, the sample in a sterile bottle.
