Microbiological analysis of food and food products
Contact our laboratory for microbiological analysis and controls on food, essential for compliance with EC Regulation 2073/2005 and food safety. The main sources of human illnesses from food are microbiological hazards: for this reason, our laboratory tests aim to identify pathogenic microorganisms, define index parameters and indicators of contamination and search for alternative microorganisms.
We take care of sample collection and sampling throughout Italy, especially in the north and in the Canton of Ticino, in the areas of Chiasso, Lugano, Bellinzona and Locarno. Contact our staff to book analyses and receive detailed information.
Methodologies and criteria
Our laboratory carries out analyses to define the microbiological parameters of products and technological processes, as well as for microbial identification by biochemical means or by optical microscopy. Furthermore, we follow the following microbiological criteria for food safety: Salmonella spp., Listeria monocytogenes, E. coli, Histamine, Staphylococcal Enterotoxins.
Sampling, analysis methodologies, process phases and corrective actions in the event of
non-compliance are defined by EC Regulation 2073/2005 based on the specific microbiological criterion.
